Scrap metal prices change daily: our yard follows the London Metal Exchange (LME) quotations and adjusts intake prices to them every morning. Three factors decide the final price, the type and grade of the metal, the level of contamination, and the quantity. We can pay more for clean, sorted material; above 10 tonnes our industrial partners receive preferential pricing.
Copper is the most valuable scrap metal delivered in bulk, which is why the copper buying price drives most of our suppliers. The price depends on the purity of the copper: bright bare copper fetches the most, while mixed copper and copper cable fall into a lower category, for cable the recovery rate determines the price. We give an exact, binding price after weighing and grading.
Scrap metal prices in 2026 are shaped not only by exchange movements but also by energy costs and industrial demand for recycled raw material. The table above is updated every business day, if you are planning to deliver a larger lot, ask for an individual offer, because for truckload quantities we can pay better than the indicative price.
